Can Livecode access SMS text messages from an Android and/or IOS and save them? I have found code showing how LiveCode can send SMS text messages...but what about receiving them (or accessing them from xyz folder)?

What can't you do in a Native App?? Read the contents of a Text Message?

Are you referring only to LiveCode or any Native App .. because I've written Android App in MIT Inventor which easily send and Receives Text Messages and read their contents.

What I should have said is there's no iOS SDK for doing such a thing. If you want to use some web service then go right ahead.

I saw it's been over 1 year since the last update on this post - what's the status of incoming SMS Text messages on LiveCode for Android?

I want to create an app that does a specific action when an incoming SMS that contains a certain keyword is sent into the phone.
