Yes if you ignore the package concept which I don't think we have an equivalent of...So "protected" would work like it does in java.
My motivation was to allow local private library access to an object; "start using" places the library in the message path for *all* objects.I'm looking for what advantage adding to the language for require has over simply using start using.
