SVGs can now be Imported As Control

Oh, Gosh, Gosh, Gosh they can.

I got "all excited" and was rolling in the ashes until I tried it:

and then sobered up a bit:

1. the imported image is NOT a scaleable vector object.

2. My example, at least, went wonky.

one can, at least, sidestep the bother of converting SVG images into
PNG format.

if i open your svg file from your zip in the bug database in Inkscape i get to see this:

So i wonder where the fault may be, in the svg source or in LC

That SVG was converted from an EPS file with Adobe Illustrator.

The EPS file was, ironically perhaps, exported from Inkscape:
which now refuses to import it.

Probably something in that conversion goes wrong i guess.

I have a simple png file with color imported in inkscape and saved as svg, which loads correct in LC.
