Ah, yes - thanks for the report. Fixed now.
There was a substack that was password-protected in the older version, which in the new version I'm working on is not. I had intended to get the new version posted about the time the FOSS edition of LC was released, but since then I've had some scope increases on client projects that have kept me pretty busy.
But it's resolved now in the current version, and I see a window of time opening up soon to finish the new version, so RevNet will just get that much more useful.
Along these lines, I've always envisioned both RevNet and LiveCodeJournal.com as community resources, open to the participation of anyone who wants to contribute. If you think of ways either the plug or the web site can be of greater value to the community, drop me an email and let's make it happen.

Hmmm... interesting discussion about secureMode. So it seems that maybe two options for secureMode would be useful: one to disable disk access, and a separate one to disable internet access. That way one could specify that disk access was explicitly disabled while allowing libURL to function normally.

In the current implementation, net access is always on. My proposal for secureFolder (see http://forums.runrev.com/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=16997 ) merely opens up the option for local cache as well.
Has anyone been requesting a secureMode without even net access? I suppose it could be useful or some self-contained apps, but without the net or local I/O it seems a narrow range of things that could be built with it.

OK - I probably misinterpreted the earlier discussion about libURL problems then (http://forums.runrev.com/posting.php?mo ... 52#pr84049). Never mind. I'll go back to lurking in this topic.

Better still, see if you can drum up some interest in the secureFolder proposal to revolutionize global education with LiveCode.mwieder wrote: I'll go back to lurking in this topic.
