Can't install MobGUI

When I try and "Open" the MobGUI stack I get an error message saying "There was was a problem opening that stack: stack is corrupt. Check for ~backup."

How do I install MobGUI?

Yes. I am having the same problem on Mac OSX Mountain Lion. I thought it was me don't know how to install MobGUI plugin. Does anyone know MobGUI V 0.29 works in Livecode Community 6 Version?

I am new in Livecode but just not getting iOS standalone app to created, cannot add the MobGUI plugin. It makes me wonder if Livecode Community 6 is ready for Mobile app.

You don't need mobGui to make mobile apps in LC.

Ok, I think I just read another post maybe this is something regarding the MobGUI is a commercial plugin and you need commercial LiveCode.
I just downloaded a open source MobGUI plugin from the MobGui forum. It's kind of working, but a very limited controls for iOS.

You cannot use the Commercial version of MobGUI in the Community Edition. It is a password protected stack and incompatible with open source. The vendor is working on a Community Edition compatible version.

Does the old mobgui work in the new commercial version of Livecode open source? I have a license to 5.5.2 but haven't purchased a new license to the opensource version of live code.

I wasted 50.00 on a Mobgui plugin that LiveCode promotes in their training materials ... only to find out it, that it only works with the commercial version of LC.
