Yes completely uninstalling (dragging the icon to "Remove"). Ir's a Huaway.
Then installing again a new, I found still the pref file in "documents".
What is also strange is that this doesn't happen in another Android 5 device (ASUS).

It's a mystery

The "Remove" icon only removes it from the launcher screen but does not uninstall, which explains why the app data was not deleted. To completely uninstall on a Huawei device, go to Settings -> Apps and Notifications -> Apps -> <your app> and tap the "uninstall" button.

Some apps will also take you directly to App Info if you long-press the app icon in the launcher or in the app drawer. I think all LC apps will do that.
