Not more the 8 widgets in Android possible?

Post by drkosta » Mon Feb 19, 2018 3:07 pm

Hi there,

after planning to make my app available for android for two years, I startet to do the optimization since LC 9 (DP) is available. Because of the widgets it saves me a lot of time.

Im using a lot of input fields (13) and 3 option buttons.

I replaced the iOS input fields (which were created with an old version of livecode and mobGUI) with android native input fields. The app crashes with the error message "Unfortunately App has stoped". I figured out that reducing the amount of widgets to 8, the app runs without any issue.

Any ideas what to do?

I´using LC 9 DP 11 and Android Studio 3.0.1 with JDK 1.8.6. Testdevice is a Sony Xperia E1 with Android 4.4

Thanks in advance

Kosta

Submit a bug report. All crashes are high priority. The LC team will also be able to tell you if there is a workaround.

As always a pragmatical solution from Jacque :)

Did I told you that I love AirLaunch?

Cheers
