Problem with Galaxy s7

Post by LiadTal6 » Fri Apr 21, 2017 5:59 pm

Hello,

I don't know why, but my app doesn't work on Galaxy s7, but it's works on other phones that run android.
Can you help me and write the reasons that could cause to this thing?
It's important for me that the app will be available also in this phone.

Thank you!

What exactly doesn't work? There is not enough information to answer the question.

Hey,

So I succeeded to run my app on Galaxy s7.
My app contains the browser widget of livecode 8 in the first page of the app.
I ran my app in 2 different galaxy s7 devices, and in one device my app is OK and the browser works well, but in the second device the browser is really slow.
I'm not sure if this bug is related to this specific device, but they both have android 7.0.0.
Maybe there is a specific SDK that I didn't downloaded and I've got to download? I don't know what is the reason that cause to the browser to be slow in one of the devices but I need some help to fix it.
What can make the browser to run faster?

Thank you!

The app should run the same on both phones, so the problem is likely to be something else interfering with the LC app. Look for background processes running on the device. Widgets can sometimes interfere. Or restart the phone and do not open any other apps while you test your own. Check system preferences to see what has been using the most memory.
