Italic text in 6.5?

Italic text in 6.5?
Has anyone gotten italic text to display using 6.5 on an Android device? I set up a very simple stack with a text field containing some italic and bold italic text and set the font to Droid Serif. Using 6.1.3 it displays properly on my Android phone. The same stack compiled with 6.5 displays bold but not italic text. Droid Serif does show up in the fontNames and fontStyles ("Droid Serif", 18) reports both italic and bold-italic are available.

Hi Jack,
I can confirm that 6.5 does not show Droid font italic (earlier version do).
Using Roboto font it does.
