could not compile application class

Post by Joe Kot » Tue Feb 14, 2012 3:19 pm

I've been working on an app for a couple of months using 5.02 on a pc. I've built a stand alone app that I install on an Android tablet. Everything works great up to a few days ago. Now when I try to build a standalone app I get the message "There was an error while saving the stand alone application, could not compile application class." To further diagnose the problem I created a very simple one button app and tried to build a stand alone app. I get the same message "could not compile application class." I re-installed LiveCode 5.02. Still have the same problem. I have not made any changes to the sdk. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Joe

Check the LiveCode preferences to make sure the path to your Android developer folder is still accurate. Also make sure the signing key is still there in the standalone builder Android pane.
