Re: Meeting: April 7, Pasadena
Hans and I are going to attend. Time permitting, we would like to do a short demo on the tools we developed to improve our efficiency when developing in LiveCode. Three examples:
Code cleaner will auto define local variables, find duplicate handlers, remove phantom spaces, indent code, and a variety of other important things to minimize bugs due to typing errors.
In multi-user environments we need to share code updates and control changes. We have a tool that allows us to easily send each other changes to be merged into the main code-base.
ArrayBrowser is a tool that allows us to view all variables, including arrays, globals and locals in a single window. You can create and edit variables as well.
We will give away our in-house tools. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
