Hi Richard.
I will be there. It's been a while and I don't know what I can contribute at this time, I'm just getting started again.

I would like to come but I've never been to anything like this before. I'm only in my 3rd week of the LiveCode course and have zero previous experience. Does everyone bring their computers and eat hamburgers? What should I expect?

Hamburgers optional, though the menu at Burger Continental is pretty good (lots of good Middle Eastern dishes too).
Many of us bring our laptops, esp. when we're showing what we've been working on, or have something to debug we could use a hand with.
We like to ask that everyone bring something, but that "something" can be as simple as a question about using LiveCode.
There are usually between five and sometimes as many as ten of us there, a friendly crew in a relaxed casual atmosphere.
Looking forward to seeing you Thursday.

Re: Meeting: February 5, Pasadena
Hello Fellow Pasadena LiveCode Users,
Just a thought. The topic of Arduino and Raspberry PI.
The topic came up at the meeting so I thought I would give everyone a heads up.
With Radio Shack declaring Bankruptcy, it is my understanding that they will be discounting their merchandise. I was told that they would be discounting their merchandise starting tomorrow, Sunday, the 8th of February.
Radio Shack does have a limited supply of Arduino devices and Arduino shields.
Just an FYI.
Clarence
