[OT] CalTech/MIT Enterprise Forum: March 10

Post by FourthWorld » Tue Feb 21, 2012 4:25 am

The CalTech/MIT Enterprise Forum offers a series of panel discussions on various topics of interest to entrepreneurs.

The discussions are held on Saturday mornings once a month at the Baxter Lecture Hall on the CalTech campus in Pasadena, with the preceding hour for continental breakfast and networking. The cost is $40 for early registration, and $50 at the door.

Details are here, with a couple coming up on the schedule which may be of interest to some of the developers here:

I've been to a few of these in the past and found them valuable, both for the content and the good company.

I'll be going to the next one on March 10, which focuses on challenges and opportunities for funding socially conscious enterprises, both non- and for-profit. I suspect some of this may be useful in coming up with strategies for open source software projects as well, and certainly a good time to meet other local business owners and possibly VCs.

If any of you plan on attending let me know and I'll be sure to be there early.
