missunderstanding/misinterpretation in-app purchases

Post by sphere » Mon Jun 24, 2019 8:38 pm

Boy oh boy,
seems i had a misunderstanding or wrongly interpreted In-App purchases (Android).
I thought i could use it to sell some music via that system.

But it's actually only to ripp off people for virtual things like more lives or a badge or....?

Please correct me if i'm wrong.
Thanks,
Sphere

If your app delivers media, in-app purchases are a mechanism to handle the purchase portion of that.

But you're right, i don't think there's a way to use in-app purchases to insert your app into the workflow for purchasing media unrelated to what your app delivers.

Too bad.
Would have been great.
I was searching where people would store their stuff on Google.....but it's just virtual stuff.

Thanks for confirming Richard.

Jerry
