You can spend ages moving the cursor by small increments to work out
how fine-grained the detection system is. 8)

AND, then, because you have nothing better to do, you can implement it in LiveCode.

All together now . . .

Pretty good one sphere, clever on the part of the designers too.

A little off topic again, but how many skateboarding enthusiasts do we have here? I just started it in 2018 and love it :D

I used to skateboard when I was a teenager in the 1980s, no half-pipe master or anything, but I could get around, ollie up curbs.

I think they got much better once we stopped using metal roller skate wheels and went to those rubbery ones, but by then I was too old to trust em much.

Haha, I remember those early boards that were thin and had thin metal wheels, they were terrible, and like vinyl albums, I think they made a bit of a comeback for some strange reason. The wide wooden decks and wide rubber wheels made a huge difference.

I could be wrong, as this is more of a 'feeling' than an actual fact I picked up somewhere, but I think the "steel wheels" made a comeback because of the movie "Back to the future" coming out, when 'Marty' grabbed that board from the kid and yanked the handle off, turning it into a more modern skateboard.

Your completely correct in how terrible those metal wheels were, it was like trying to control something while moving on pure ice, covered with Slick50 on teflon  I'm only surprised we didn't all kill ourselves.

That movie had a lot of fond memories for me in it :D
