Preferences file makes me mad sometimes

Had something not working today and i could not figure it out.
I used an exact same line of script in a stack to read a blob out of a database
and it did not work, while the demostack did work

So i had put the info from the variable in the message box and i got a line about a stack grid of stack"test", but my stack had a different name and no datagrid.
So delete stack"test"->it said there is no stack"test"

so i thought strange...and strange errors come from the preferences files, i had it before.
So deleted livecode7.rev file and restarted LC.
Voila it worked.
Wasted some hours, makes me a bit annoyed...

What will really overwhelm your mind is when you realize there is no spoon... oh wait, thats a different thing...

I guess I'm thankful most of the problems I encounter are self inflicted heh. One time I was working in Lc and Mc at the same time, and forgot which stacks I had in each one....hilarity ensued

That's when you're in a restaurant, and you ask the waiter Please taste the soup.
Why is it not good?, the waiter asks.

Please taste the soup, you ask again.

Waiter says, there is no spoon...

Ahaaah
