Forums settings oddities

Post by [-hh] » Thu Jan 11, 2018 5:46 am

1. Until a short time ago one was able to delete an own post if it was the newest in the subforum. This was especially appropriate whenever a part of the post (especially an attachment) was changed, so that one could "repost".

This is now disabled. Why?

2. Since a while, when using Safari for posting, one is kicked off every few minutes. Is it possible to check the settings of the forums software?

Not just Safari, btw. Using FF on Linux, I keep having to reset the 'remember me' check box, varies from minutes to days. This is something that always worked previously, so I find it annoying myself. I also find signing in from a different computer seems to affect it as well, something I do depending on time of day / location which I find puzzling simply because signing in from a different computer shouldn't affect the cookie on the other computer.
