Let's start with a simple picture: This is a Blue-Bot that can be controlled remotely from either a Mac or a Windows machine using what is,
frankly, an unattractive interface.

Now, having asked this sort of Q. many, many times in the past:

How would one go about doing that with LiveCode.

Why does it seem:

1. Difficult.

2. Everyone wants to shy away from this kind of thing re LiveCode?

The Blue-Bot people have very kindly sent me a document that sets out the Hex codes for sending commands to the Bot.

It state that one cannot use this for financial gain.

BUT, as their own software offerings are "not much cop" there is no earthly reason why someone (who? me?)
couldn't develop a FREE Bluetooth "thingy" with LiveCode to control it.

I am trying to build my own app with BlueBot, but I am having trouble finding out anything about how to set up my connection with BlueBot, and even I still didn't manage to get in touch with the BlueBot team...

Richmond62: would it be possible for you to share more information on how you got the app to communicate with a BlueBot? And if you have any other mail from the BlueBot people than the official sales@tts..., and you would be willing to share this, would that be possible?

alj8, I'd gladly share any information I had, but owing to being very very busy, and family problems recently, I have done NOTHING.

HOWEVER, I am grateful to you for "kicking me" so I can get on with an attempt.
