Hi,
I can't seem to find any information about this anywhere. When is the commercial edition of LiveCode 8 going to be released? I see that the community and community server were released - where's the commercial edition?
Thanks.

Re: LiveCode 8 Commercial Edition to be Released When?
The only release of LiveCode 8 available at this time is a very early Developer Preview release. While no specific release date has been announced yet, I'd guess it'll be at least a few months before this significant new release is finalized, and we can expect a Commercial Version of a later Developer Preview to be available before then.
In the meantime, the Developer Preview of the Community Edition has feature parity with the Commercial version to come later in terms of relevant new features, so feel free to work with the current DP to get familiar with LiveCode Builder.

Over/Under? 4Q 2015. Let's make it harder for everyone: November-and-a-half

What? No takers on the under? How about the over?

I'd never bet on a LiveCode release: let's hope it is later rather than sooner,
so there's a better chance a lot of the bugs have been ironed out.

Yes, but there are a few things that have been getting better as we go forward:
1) Funding is better, it would seem, and the staff appears to be larger
2) Open source, so the volunteer staff is (slightly) larger
3) As Builder gets finished, volunteer staff gets even larger, yet.
This feels like a long one, though.
