I found a nice little Ipad text editor on the App store that I figure others may find useful next time they are on a long train ride with nothing to do but code and only an Ipad along for the ride. It's called Textastic and cost me $4.99 US to purchase. Has library with about 50 different languages (colored) syntax built in and one of them is LiveCode ! . (sad, no Filemaker though...)
What is really kinda nice is it adds a bunch of buttons at the top of the keyboard with all the usual symbols for speeding up coding.
I didn't have anything to do with creating it, so hopefully I'm not breaking any spam rule here, I just found it and think it's kinda useful and maybe some others here may want to know about it.

That's really cool. Now if only I could type on that on-screen keyboard...
I'll check it out anyway.

"Like" ... Best editor I've used. Supposedly RunRev was exploring building a version of the IDE for the iPad at one point. Don't know where that stands though.

I have a feeling that the Apple App store "went all funny" about both Livecode and Livecode standalones, so the fault of RunRev not having developed an iPad version of Livecode (yet) lies with
Apple and not with them.
