Re: Help with LC9 on 10.11 El Capitan
Hello Josep,
Which version of LC did you use?
If you are on High Sierra with Xcode 9.4.x, then you have to use the latest LiveCode version (9.0.1 RC-2).
Hope this helps,
Panos

LiveCode 9.0 – Xcode 8.2 -Mac OS 10.11
LiveCode 9.0 – Xcode 9.2 -Mac OS 10.12.6+

Re: Help with LC9 on 10.11 El Capitan
Hello JosepM,
*Building* with the iOS 12 SDK (e.g. the SDK that is included in Xcode 10 is not supported in LC yet, but it will be supported in the next release.
However, if you want your app to run in iOS 12 devices too (this is different from *building* with the iOS 12 SDK), you can just rebuild the app with LiveCode 9.0.1, using the version of Xcode depending on the version of your Mac OS:
Xcode 7.2 Mac OS 10.10
Xcode 8.2 Mac OS 10.11
Xcode 9.2 Mac OS 10.12.6+
Xcode 9.4 Mac OS 10.13.4+
Best,

Re: Help with LC9 on 10.11 El Capitan
Hello Josep,
LC 9.0.2 RC1 does not support building with Xcode 10.1.
If you are on High Sierra or Mojave, you have to use Xcode 10.0.
You can have a look at the release notes to see the supported platforms and Xcode versions.
Kind regards,

So, better don't update to 10.1, right? any release date to build for Xcode 10.1?

Re: Help with LC9 on 10.11 El Capitan
Hello Josep,
If you upgrade to Xcode 10.1, you won't be able to use it with LC 9.0.2 rc1.
Support for building with Xcode 10.1 will probably come in LC 9.0.3 rc1, for which unfortunately we do not have an ETA yet.
Note that you can have multiple Xcode versions installed, so if you have already downloaded/upgraded to Xcode 10.1, and you do not want to delete it, then you can download Xcode 10.0 as well.
Kind regards,
Panos

Hi,
With LC 9.0.1 and Xcode 9.4.1 I can't install new compiled apps. Left waiting... any idea?

Hi,
Seems the problem is fixed, was an issue with the Apple certificate, but now the App icon doesn't appear. Any idea why? the icon size is correct.
Salut,
Josep M
