XCODE / SDK & Livecode

Hello,

I tried to find the answer on the forum before posting this but I couldn't find a topic related to my problem.

I try to build a IOS standalone application with livecode, I currently have :
MAC OS SIERRA 10.12.2
XCODE Version 8.2.1 (8C1002)
LiveCode 8.1.2 Build 1413 / LiveCode 9.0.0 RP

Everytime I try to create my standalone application I have an error message telling me that I don't have the SDK 10.1
You will find a screen capture where you can see that I have SDK 10.1 installed and even the XCODE simulator for Ipad working with the 10.1

I tried with the livecode 8.1.2 and 9.0.0 the error message is the same

What did I do wrong ?

Hi jvouin,

Building with Xcode 8.2.x is not supported in LiveCode 8.1.2. You need Xcode 8.1.

I suggest you turn off auto-updates in your Mac, so as to keep older Xcode versions as well. I have a folder "Xcodes" with subfolders "Xcode_X_Y_Z". Each of those subfolders contains the actual Xcode.app for this X.Y.Z version. In that way you can have more than one Xcode versions installed.

Note that Xcode 8.2.x will be supported in the upcoming release of LiveCode 8.1.3 RC-1.

Thank you very much for your support.

I downloaded the XCODE 8.1 from the page you mentionned but the higher version of SDK included is 10.0 :O
As my internet brandwith if 250Ko/s it took me forever ... I think I will just sit and wait for the next livecode release.
Do you have any idea of the launch date of the new livecode release ?

Really? This is strange, since this is the official Apple downloads webpage, and Xcode 8.1 should include the iOS 10.1 SDK.

LiveCode 8.1.3 RC-1 is expected to be released soon. Given that there is currently only one bug that blocks the release, I would say that it should be released within the next couple of weeks.
