1. welcome to the forum!
2. Looks like this feature is currently unsupported in Livecode, sorry.
If it is not in the docs, it is not supported.

not sure, but "mobilepickmedia" should do what you are looking for.
Check the dictionary for further info.

mobilepickmedia is browsing files from itunes,unable to browse videos from camroll.

we are trying to develop a plugin to browse videos from camroll and other sandboxes in ipad.
could you please guide us how to develop a plugin for livecode(plugin development language compilation,integrations....etc.)

Apple don't allow developers access to any other 'sandboxes' besides the ones they offer up.
(Media,Contact etc)
Maybe Montes mergAV is what you need.

It isn't possible to browse and select videos from within Keynote in iOS either, although that *is* possible in Keynote in Mac OS. It seems Apple doesn't see it as an important function for iOS software to use. :-/
