I am new to iOS deployment. I generally like doing puzzles, but making all of these XCode/Apple/LC pieces join together is giving me fits *forced laughter*. My current step is trying to test my app on an iPhone connected to my Mac.
Here's what I have:
-LC Commercial 6.0.1
-Membership in the Apple Dev. Program
-XCode 4.6.2 and 4.4
-an iOS Team Provisioning Profile
-iPhone Developer and Distribution Certificates in Keychain Access
-Green box in the LC Preferences: Mobile Support page
When I attempt to create a Standalone in LC I see
"device build requires a provisioning profile to be chosen"
However, I have no options in the Standalone Settings under Profile. Just 'none.'
Can someone please Show Me the Light?
Thank you.
no Provisioning Profile to select

Re: no Provisioning Profile to select
Try to open Xcode, then choose Organizer under the Window menu, then Devices and see how the situation appears there (under Provisioning Profiles).
PS
The app ID of Standalone Settings (e.g. com.mycompany.MyApp) do pairs with the one you have in Provisioning Profile (can be also com.mycompany.*)?

Re: no Provisioning Profile to select
When I changed (to anything!) the Internal App ID entry, then LC pulled in my provisioning profile. Thank you Mag for the suggestion to look there.
Can anyone point me to some documentation for these iOS Standalone Settings? I have to guess at some of them which aren't as obvious as others.
Thanks.

Dear Leston12
Thank you for your request.
You will be able to find out more information on iOS standalone application settings from page 11 of the LiveCode iOS Release notes.
These notes can be accessed via the "Help" menu from within the LiveCode IDE
