RevCon West 2006 Speakers Announced
FREE COPIES OF REVOLUTION MEDIA AND VALENTINA OFFICE SERVER

April 21, 2006. Monterey, CA. RevCon West 2006, slated for June 16-17 in Monterey, California, will include 23 technical sessions presented by more than a dozen highly-qualified speakers, two major keynote addresses and demonstrations of new third-party add-ons, the conference sponsors, RevCentral and Runtime Revolution Ltd., have announced.

In addition, attendees will be given software with a market value in excess of $500, including a five-client Valentina Office Server from Paradigma Software and a free licensed copy of Runtime Revolution's latest product, Revolution Media.

Of the 23 technical sessions, 17 cover topics that weren't part of RevCon West 2005. Everything from how to start building an application to deploying it on the Internet to marketing it to the masses will be covered at this year's conference.

How to Market Your Products - Panel (Lynn Fredricks, Chipp Walters, Richard Gaskin; Dan Shafer, Moderator)

Dan Shafer, author of the definitive published book on Revolution and a long-time scripting expert, will kick off the conference with his annual "State of the Revolution" Address. Kevin Miller, CEO of Runtime Revolution, Ltd, will give the primary keynote on the second day of the conference. In addition, RunRev's CTO, Mark Waddingham, will give a presentation.

An optional post-conference Sunday schedule is being finalized but will include a full day of product briefings by Runtime Revolution executive staff members and a full-day "Code Kitchen" which will offer attendees a chance to get immediate hands-on help with their projects from some of the best Revolution programmers on the planet.
RevCentral Newsletter, chief sponsor and organizer of the conference, is planning a two-day in-depth tutorial on Revolution design and scripting on June 14-15 for those who wish to attend the main conference but feel they need more background and understanding before the main event.

The conference will kick off Thursday evening, June 15, with a jazz jam session led by stars of the local Monterey jazz scene. Attendees who wish to do so will be invited to sit in with the performers.
