Deployment as a desktop application

In metacard you could drag the stack on top of the engine and the stack would start. This gave us the capability to save the stack/stack contents. Works very well for us. I can see using a revlet and a browser but what if you dont want to use a browser? How do you make the equivalent ability in Livecode?

I'm not sure I understand your question as written in your post, but going from your subject:

You select the appropriate OS in File -> Standalone Application Settings, then use File -> Save as Standalone File.
