Releasing an app to google play

Post by mandiat » Tue Sep 23, 2014 1:45 pm

Has anyone released an app to google play that was developed with the community version of live code. I tried but only the free option button is available. The paid button is grayed out.

The Paid option is available only after setting up a merchant account. In the Google Play Developer Console, follow the link below the "Paid/Free" button to set up your merchant account.

You also want to keep in mind these 2 bits of information when posting mobile from community editions-
Google Play Submissions
Submit Apps to the Google Play App Store. If you are using the Community or Community Plus license then your source code must be made public when distributing.
.....
With the LiveCode community license you can submit your Android built apps to the Google Play store. It is worth remembering that all applications developed with LiveCode Community are required to be Open Source.
