Coding Contest on Instructables

Post by ghettocottage » Mon May 11, 2015 3:34 pm

#not sure which forum to post this in. Please move it to the appropriate forum if this is not the right place

Instructables.com has contests from time to time where you put together a tutorial on how to do something, and people vote on it and you get prizes if you win. The prizes are usually pretty good. A couple of years ago I won some solar panels and a few camping gizmos for doing an instructable on building a cob playhouse. My instructable ended up being on Treehugger.com and Mother Earth Magazine.

This month there is a coding contest. It is sponsored by Microsoft, and at first glance it looks like the prizes go to projects based on Azure or Visual Studio; however, that is only one prize category. The rest of the prizes are simply for projects based on code of any platform.

This would be an excellent chance to show what Livecode can do. Anyone want to post a tutorial? There are quite a few entries already, but lots of them look very similar (using an arduino to [fill in simple task])
