What curriculum materials exist for Teaching a RunRev course?
My wife is a high school teacher, and she said she is hearing she might be given a comp sci course next year to design and teach.

Any pointers appreciated.

You could try the Teacher Manual for K12 kids. It may be a bit outdated in the references to daily life, but this is probably a good start.

You will also find the full list of tutorials I know about on my wiki. For teaching compsci, check up in particular Judy Perry tutorials on that page and the Chum 281 website. These are rather for university students.

Thanks for the nod, Marielle.

It's not quite an 'out of the box' solution, but you could try acquiring an old copy of Richard Decker's _Analytical Engine_, a book and floppy (!) disk that taught elementary programming concepts using (first) Hypercard and (secondly, for PC) ToolBook.

My bet is they are perfectly adaptable. I think I even have a copy laying around somewhere...

Best,

Judy

Somewhere I saw that "one third of all Scottish schools are teaching programming with LC". Is any of this curriculum online? I may have a chance to influence the adoption of LC as a teaching tool in Mexico....

This is a curriculum that I believe is being used by a High School in Maryland.

https://sites.google.com/a/pgcps.org/livecode/

There's also some course materials on the Livecode website itself:

http://livecode.com/who-is-it-for/teachers/

There may be others, I am not sure.
