So: here's my first offering.
The children will NOT have access to the scripts;
but, I hope, that at the end of 2 weeks they should be able
to program this sort of functionality.

If you want to use this basic game as a teaching tool,
I suggest you show it on a projector to your pupils, and then let them try to do the coding.
You can, of course, present them with the stack with the code removed.
