did you get any farther with it, or is it considered done?
No, I didn't go any further with it for this simple reason:

There were quite a few people who had been glittering on for a fair few years about how they wanted a
Metacard/Hypercard sort of front-end strapped on LiveCode. So I put a fair bit of effort into what you see here. This was met with a dull thud: not a single person responded or even encouraged me. So I thought
"@#$%^ them" and went and got on with things which served my needs rather than a bunch of people who talked about how they wanted things and when they got them said nothing.

No, of course it is not considered "done", see paragraph above.

Please "bogs" feel free, if it serves your needs (and, definitely don't do it for anybody else because . . . .)
to continue working with it and/or learn anything useful from what I have done.

Wow, I am so sorry to bring a painful memory, I had no idea.

On the other hand, looks like at least a few people (images viewed 1700+ times) were following along in your progress whether or not they said so, and Peter's comment helped you (and me, for a different reason), and I sure didn't download all 77 copies by myself of the stack

But, I certainly understand your point of view and again, hope you accept my thanks and a hearty slap on the back for taking it this far. As I said above, it is plenty slick :)

" I am so sorry to bring a painful memory"

Ha, Ha; considering all the "Cr*p" I've had thrown at me in my life it really doesn't fuss me that much.

If you treat LiveCode like an endlessly extensible LEGO kit you can do all sorts of "clever" things with it
without being "That" clever.
