Hi Linux Rev users,
This is just a tip for new users who are working with Rev under KDE (K Desktop Environment) in Linux. I know it caused me quite a bit of trouble until I came across the solution. Hopefully this will help you find the solution quicker!
Rev doesn't play nice with the KDE clipboard tool called "Klipper". If you are having trouble with cut/copy/paste functions in the script editor, then close Klipper and Rev will operate as it should. Original solution found here.
Another tip, keyboard shortcuts like ctrl-s for Save, or ctrl-c for Copy seem to work better if you make sure your "Caps Lock" and "Num Lock" keys are off. This seems to be an on and off problem with many non-kde native apps. So, if you don't need them, leave them off!
Happy scripting.

Hey, thanks for the info on the KDE there. I have in the past worked
with Rev under Gnome, but within the last year I purchased Xandros
which uses KDE. Eventually I'll be getting back to using Rev on Linux,
and of course KDE, so good to find out about this now instead of thumping
my skull later on.
Thanks,
