Hi All,

Could you check in your own Linux setup,
if Right-Click contextual menu works fine
in LiveCode IDE (version 8.1.3)?

Thanks in advance!

I don't have v8.1.3 installed, but in v8.1.4rc1 and v9.0dp6 right-click menus work fine, but the IDE's and my custom ones.

Great to know, Richard! :D
Many thanks for answering.

Does exists some way to patch LC 8.1.3 IDE in Linux
to include back this basic functionality?

Yes, the process is to upgrade to 8.1.4. :)

Beyond that, I don't know. But since 8.1.4 is an RC it needs testing anyway - dive in and see if you can find anything to report. We can always use another pair of eyes.

Actually, a patch is only (at most) a few Megabytes in size,
not 1GB (installed size of complete new version).

I will read the Release Notes to learn which bugs
were fixed from version 8.1.3

Works absolutely fine with 8.1.3 and 9 DP 6 on Xubuntu 16.04 64-bit.

right-click contextual menu works as expected here in LC 8.1.3 under openSUSE Tumbleweed.
