The "slave installer" expression was shown by the installer itself, after I gave my account password... I take no credits for it
And yes, I installed Oracle's JDK 7. Before that, I tried to fool LiveCode with the OpenJDK directory, but it really did not fall into it.
Gonna give it another try as soon as I can solve the weird NVidia driver problem which performed a "pixel scaling" in my laptop

Once again, no go. Same message. JDK path is /usr/lib/jvm/java7-oracle.
I also made a reinstall of OpenJDK 7 just for checking what happened... and I got the same message. The class bundle just can't be encoded...

- kernel 2.4.x or more
- glibc 2.3.2 or more
- X11R5 or more
- compositing window manager
- gtk/gdk/glib
- pango/xft
- lcms
- gksu
- mplayer
- esd
