I just upgraded to Ubuntu 13.10 to discover that the ia32-libs package I've been depending on to run LC on any modern 64-bit Linux system is no longer in the repos.
I've started hunting down alternatives, but if any of you have a quick fix please let me know. If not, I'll post what I learn here (which is hope is more encouraging than "Wait until RunRev finally releases a 64-bit-compatible version" <g>)

Re: Missing libs with Ubuntu 13.10
Turns out the ia32 package is still compatible with 13.10, just no longer in the repos, and can be added with these simple instructions:
http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/ia32-libs-in-ubuntu-13-10
Good enough for now, but oh how I wait for the 64-bit version of the LiveCode engine so I can confidently tell my Linix friends they can run LiveCode without having to jump through extra hoops.
