remote debugger and Sonoma

Post by jameshale » Tue Nov 07, 2023 1:58 am

Wondering if this has been happening elsewhere.
I am running 9.6.11rc1 on my M1 Mac under Sonoma.
I also have the simulator open to test my app under iOS.
If I leave LC open for a while (a day or two) it will all of a sudden stop responding. I can click on different windows or palettes but clicking on any of their controls does nothing.
I am even unable to access the menu items of LC so I cannot quit or save.
Of course it seems like some process is running away, and sure enough if I look at the activity monitor I see LC taking around 100%, even though I cannot see it doing anything.
So I hit cmd-period, the time honoured "stop this %**!# script".
I hit it heatedly and quickly.
Eventually I get an alert telling me there is an issue with the remotedebugger library, but as that is a pwd protected stack I can't do anything.
But at least I can now save my stack and quit.

Has anyone else had something like this happen?
