Pop Up menus crash with El Capitan

Post by michalow » Mon Nov 16, 2015 5:57 pm

I have noticed a bug in the use of Pop Up menus on Livecode applications, either compiled or not.

I use El Capitan MACOSX for 15 days and Livecode 7.1. When I develop a Pop Up menu and release up the mouse out of the menu in order to give up instead of choosing an item, the application crashes.

I have verified two things :
1) the crash is specific of applications developed with Livecode 7.1 on El Capitan :

- When I do the same thing (mouse up outside the Pop Up Menu) with other applications (ex : MS Word, Apple Numbers,Apple Mail,...) on the same Mac and the same OS (MacOSX El Capitan, no crash occurs.
- I also used the same application on another Mac with Livecode 6.8 and with system 10.8 the crash does not occur.

Is it a known bug in Livecode 7.1 ? Is there a new release with the bug fixed ?
