MP4 Video Playback

Post by mattiedenton » Wed Oct 14, 2009 11:22 pm

Hi All

Has anyone had any experience with MP4 video playback under Windows? I'm hoping I can have one set of video assets for quality video playback without having to resort to a QTime install. Most of the customer base will be on Standard Windows XP/Vista setups, some without admin access for QTime install.

I'm hoping I don't need a set of .mov and a set of .WMV files just to get the job done. I used this method in the past -- dontUseQT with WMV and .movs for Mac -- however now the assets are too big to duplicate the set on the DVD.

Any experience/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Matt

I've had good results using mp4's in a flashplayer in revbrowser.
