Hi there!

I already searched the forum and found nothing alike, so here is my problem:

I started learning LiveCode about half a year ago, and the program worked just fine. Then I paused, and on restarting today, LiveCode just won't start properly. All I see is a white, blank window (which is called "LiveCode Activation" by Windows). I already tried to delete the preferences, re-installed the latest Version (9.0.1; the other one was 9.0.0; several times), updated some drivers but wasn't able to fix it. Also the livecode-files I already created won't open (same behaviour). Can anyone help?
I'm using Windows 10, Version 1803, on a Lenovo X380 Yoga.

Now I installed LiveCode 8.2, and that seems to be working…

If you save the files in LC 8, will they then open in LC 9? I'm thinking there was a problem converting the files from an older format, and you can use LC 8 to make the transition.

I see the same thing here, on my Windows computer.

Maybe Windows Anti Malware application
flagged LC 9 as malware and does not allow
the application to start...

It does not seem to be a file problem, luckily, I am able to open my files with LC 8.2.
I‘ll try to deactivate my Avira; I thought it might be a graphics driver problem. I once tried to use the „Duet“-App with my iPad, and Hand similar issues (blank white windows). Apart from that, I have no clues...

Deactivating Avira won't change anything...

Did you by any chance find a solution to this problem? Or anything that you believe might have caused this?
