I noticed when I installed LiveCode 9 Indy commercial it seems to only be 32 bit. Is there a 64 bit version of LiveCode 9? If so, where is the download?

Thank you.

Mike

Hi, no 64-bit Windows version yet - on 64-bit machines LC runs as 32-bit by using the WoW layer

Oye. That may or may not be a big deal depending on the client.

Hopefully 64 bit is in the works.

I've read that the core team has a Win64 build in progress, but I don't know current status. Given Microsoft's good history of maintaining backward compatibility I don't imagine this is a high priority for them, but I'll write them and see what I can learn.

That's great to know Richard, but I think you are responding to a necromancer probably attempting a spam placeholder.
Assume that I am interested in any answers you might glean, however.

Curious, the necromantic post is gone, and now my reply appears to be the necromancer. :)

Oh well, it'll be good to have that update from the team just the same.

Well, I did report the post too, so it has been admin actioned. For the record it was some random waffle about "what version of winrar are you using" and "shell out to 32 bit" garbage.
But indeed, it would be useful to hear the feedback. Thanks Richard
