Hello everyone,

Has anyone tried to setup LC Server on either Windows Server 2008 / 2012 R2 by any chance? Is it possible?

UPDATE:

I have got this working on 2012 R2 but not working yet on 2008 R2.

If anyone is interested I can write up a quick document on how I accomplished this.

Please do, if you can spare the time. While most folks are using Linux servers I see enough call for Windows Server support that I'm sure your notes would be very helpful. Thanks for offering, very kind of you.

Not a problem. I can put something together.

Right now the only issue I am running on 2008 R2 is when you go to http://localhost/[whateverYouReNamedYou ... erFolderTo]/

It opens the directory rather than the default welcomemessage.lc

Well, if you use Win and Apache: http://lessons.livecode.com/m/4070/l/36 ... ith-apache

If you use IIS, you have to configure it. Control ->Panel and working on it both on extension (.lc) side and CGI side ( https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/lib ... s.10).aspx ).
