On the page "How do I install LiveCode Server"
http://lessons.livecode.com/m/2571/l/56 ... ode-server
The links for the following are broken. I have put the correct links below each title.
• How do I install LiveCode Server on OS X with Apache
http://lessons.livecode.com/m/4070/l/36 ... ith-apache
• How do I install LiveCode Server on Windows with Apache
http://lessons.livecode.com/m/4070/l/36 ... ith-apache
• How do I install LiveCode Server on Linux with Apache
http://lessons.livecode.com/m/4070/l/36 ... ith-apache
I tried to put a comment on the page with this information but I did not see it appear yet. I guess the comments are moderated. In any case it would be good for the links on the page to be fixed.
I also noticed that on the page for Installing LiveCode Server on OS X the information for starting “Web Sharing was outdated. The following is incorrect as of Mac OS X Mountain Lion.
As mentioned in the Comments section of the page that as of Mountain Lion the Web Sharing option is no longer available in the 'Sharing' preferences pane.To enable Apache, you need to turn on "Web Sharing" from within the
"Sharing" pane of "System Preferences", as in the image above.
I found the following page that suggests other applications that can get around this.
https://computers.tutsplus.com/tutorial ... mac-45240
This suggests two applications MAMP and Anvil. Has anyone tried these? Any other suggestions?
It would be good to get this information on Web sharing on Mac OS X updated as well. Can needed website changes be reported on the bugzilla web page?
