If you need an inexpensive Livecode Server, I recommend DigitalOcean. They have great support and are working hard on developing their community and library of tutorials.
At the moment, they have an open question for what sort of tutorials we would like to see added. I have recommended a Livecode server tutorial. If you would like to see this tutorial added, then upvote my request here:

DigitalOcean also has a cool way to create images of a server and share that image with other DigitalOcean users....meaning someone could set up a functioning Livecode Server and push images of it to others (community edition, obviously)
I do not work for DigitalOcean. I just use their servers on a regular basis and have had good experiences so far. I have one Livecode server and it has been chugging away for a couple of years now without any problems. The rest of my servers are web and MySQL servers (also running fine for two years..)
