Externals

Post by nawab » Wed Jun 03, 2009 12:59 pm

Hi,
I am new to this, i have gone through the script and other tutorials they are working fine, but when i tried for external "http://www.runrev.com/developers/tutori ... ls-part-1/" example given the external is created but the script in revolution is giving an error while calling to the function "rnahelloUser" form script.

error "can't find function handler"

My question is how to communicate between script and c++ program , does it depend on OS any flavors of windows up to vista or am i making any mistake in setting the external properties in visual studio or revolution.

can any one provide me any suggestion or hint will be appriciated

I am having the same problem. The rnaHelloWorld and wrapper stacks are created, but the rnaHelloWorld function is not found, I throw a script error. I've run through the lesson 5 times, checked paths, etc, and it is consistent. "the externalFunctions" returns empty.

I assume this must be some common beginner error, any pointers appreciated.

Thanks,
Walt
