mergZXing and related tools in LiveCode 8

Is there a recommended guide on how to update some of Monte's mergExt tools that are now part of LiveCode 8? Specifically, mergAV, mergZXing, and mergDoc. How do I replace the tools? Is there an API reference that discusses substitutions for the old calls?

I had the mergBanner plugin working fine until I moved up to Livecode 8. Presently it won't give me a chance to spare my application as a standalone unless I erase the duplicate document and related code. Do I have to download ...
