Wrappers and spinners

Post by GregWills » Thu Jun 21, 2018 2:21 am

Hi All

Two questions here, but first of all, whoever decided to enable HTML5 testing from within Livecode is a genius :-) It is such a time saving function. Thank you so much.

Question 1.
Has anyone had success with inserting a Livecode program into Joomla using a iFrame Wrapper. I saw the discussion on Wordpress, but was wondering if people have actually got it to work.

Question 2.
Is there a way to show a spinner as the HTML5 program is loading onto a webpage?

Cheers

Greg

Thought I should answer myself as there were no replies :-)

I did a bit of Joomla learning! Yes, Joomla has a Wrapper option that works beautifully (with my one day experience of using Joomla!) on desktop and tablet.

A spinner would still be nice.

Cheers

Greg

Thank you Hermann for the link. I hadn't seen the post before. That is a brilliant link, description and scripts, and one that will keep me entertained for hours ... working it out! The spinners are exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the information and thanks to everyone who contributed to the spinner family!

Cheers
Greg

I agree. PACE is brilliant, and your instructions were clear enough for even me to work out. Thanks again :-)
