Visual Effects?

Post by netdzynr » Mon Aug 29, 2016 8:18 am

Trying to use any visual effect seems to consistently throw a Javascript exception.

Is there any way to employ visual effects in an HTML5 stack?

Hi Scott,

According to the dictionary, Visual Effects are available
in HTML5 stacks (web platform):
https://livecode.com/resources/api/#liv ... ual_effect
(OS: mac,windows,linux,ios,android) (Platforms: desktop,web,mobile)

Have you put online an HTML5 app that we could test?
Yesterday, I discovered that HTML5 apps run very, very slowly
in iPads. It's that expected too?

Alejandro

Alejandro, you can try it yourself -- make a simple two card stack or try to hide and show an object. This causes an error here.
