Are widgets supposed to work?

Post by malte » Tue Dec 15, 2015 1:42 pm

Hi,

I am trying to build a simple test for the Tree widget to no avail. Is it supposed to work in DP11?

Hi malte,

What exactly are the symptoms of the problems you are having? Widgets are expected to work in HTML5 standalones, to some extent. There are however unfortunately some really really subtle bugs in the LCB VM implementation on HTML5 that I've been struggling to track down, which means that the HTML5 engine might crash with certain widgets.

Can you please tell me a bit more about the test you've made and the way in which it's not working?

Thanks!

Hi Peter,

I tried to create a simple stack just sporting a tree widget. This does not get loaded but just tells me to check the console (Mac, FF, Chrome, Safari)
No fancy scripts, just the widget with 3 nodes and 2 leafs each.

Hi malte,

Yeah, that sounds weird. I don't have time to look into it right now, but could you please file a bug report and attach your stack? Thanks. :)
