Targets

Post by [-hh] » Sun Dec 13, 2015 2:21 am

We could collect in this thread links to great pages/articles that are connected to HTML5 and/or javascript and/or CSS, that inspire:

What may be also possible in LiveCode-HTML5 standalones (or LC Builder widgets)?

Please number your links, for easier reference.
Site #1 is, TMHO, also a candidate for #1 in a ranking:

[#1] Method of Action
(with an impact on 'design'. Just try all 'games'.)
[Bézier Game] [Color matching game] [Letter shaping game] [Kerning game] [Method Draw app] [Bernd's color matching app is already a step in this direction.]

[#2] Simple HTML5 drawing app
(by W. Malone. A perfect base level tutorial.)

[#3] Exploring canvas drawing techniques
(by kangax. Advanced. Also use links to other advanced drawing web apps there.)

[#4] Chrome Experiments
(Top rated. Collected by a Google team. Search for HTML5 lists 335 Experiments.)

[#5] Codrops playground (CSS avantgarde site. A treasure chest of animating effects. You could start with 'Effect Ideas for Card Stacks'. )

Hermann..

I have attached a 'little' stack that will draw in the web page... this one draws just black lines, though it was the stack that led to 'skribble'... (I have just noticed that I have to update 'Skribble' as it seems not to be working now... it is another stack from a long time ago..:-) ) SO it will be perfectly possible to have a coloured drawing app in liveCode HTML5...

Hi John,

your "BasicDraw"-stack is a real good start for beginners to build on, both in development for mobile or HTML5.
I added a dp11-HTML5 standalone of your "BasicDraw"-stack to the the HTML5-'community-page' of my collection.

Hermann

p.s. Nice Apps you have at the iTunes store. I like the idea of "Letteris" very much though it would be hard to translate this to other languages that has in average longer words as German or Spanish.
For your "TickerTape" you will get a 'competitor' (not really, a HTML5 demo only by me). I'm currently simplifying an unpublished stack to run on Raspi B, what is about the same speed as HTML5.

Of course this is a site, that must have a link in a 'targets' list:
[#6] SketchPad and Webcam FX.
Our licenses include the camera module (will we have it also available in HTML5 standalones?)
