sqlite_sampler.rev not working

Post by golife » Fri Apr 02, 2010 12:18 pm

I am using Revolution Media. I downloaded the sqlite_sampler.rev. In no way it was possible to execute the revOpenDatabase(...) command. It always opens the script editor. It seems the external functions are not provided. I could not find any solution in the FAQ or anywhere.

Also trying to open further information, for example the revOpenDatabase" link of page 3 in this example stack, the stack "Documentation Libary" of stack "revDocs" is not found. Even downloading the sampler stack twice did not work.

The system is Windows XP.

It was also not possible to simply try opening any other database which means, there the function calls are not executed or are not present.

Any help to start simply connecting to a SQL database?

Hi golife,

the free Rev Media edition does not support any database connection.

For more info check this comparison chart:

Thank you Klaus. But then there should be a way to warn the user... it is just for better usability.
